Cheers San Diego is a mobile bartending service. We show up at your wedding, a birthday, the office party, a baby shower or a plain old backyard party, anywhere in San Diego County.
Here's how it goes. We don't sell alcohol, so you buy it. Before you shop, I send you a list for your guest count with what to get and how much of it. On the day we bring coolers, ice, cups, and garnishes, set up the bar, pour, and clean up when it's over. You host. We pour.
What a mobile bartender costs with us, for up to four hours. Each one includes setup and breakdown, a planning call before the event and the free shopping list. Guest count and hours can move the number. Every package is a starting point, and everything can be customized to your event.

Want more than the basic bar? Belly bar tables with black or white linens are from $200. An extra bartender is from $250, and you want about one per 75 guests. Servers and bussers start at $200. For a margarita or mimosa bar, fresh-squeezed juice and fancier rims are from $200. There's also a self-serve water station (+$100), a framed drink sign (+$50) and light decor for corporate parties (from $400).

Mobile Bartender FAQ
How much does a mobile bartender cost in San Diego?
With us it starts at $400 for up to four hours of beer and wine, $500 for a full bar with a custom cocktail, and $950 for two bartenders. Shorter events, corporate or otherwise, start at $250. The alcohol isn't in the price because you buy it.
The packages are only starting points. Everything can be customized to your event, so tell me what you picture for your bar and I'll make it happen.
Do I need a liquor license for a private party?
Not for a private party where you buy the alcohol and nobody pays for drinks. California ABC lets a host hire a bartender to pour the host's own alcohol. We don't sell drinks, ever. We do carry Liquor Liability Insurance, which is what most venues require before we can serve alcohol on-site, and we can list your venue as an Additional Insured.
Who buys the alcohol?
You do. I send a custom shopping list first so you know what to buy and how much. Buy more than you think you'll need, since you never know which drink will be the favorite, and plan to take leftovers home. We bring coolers, ice, cups, standard drink garnishes and the bartenders. Specialty or unique garnishes are yours to supply. We can also provide non-alcoholic mixers and fresh-squeezed juices for an additional cost.
How many bartenders do I need for 100 guests?
It depends on your drink menu.
Full bar (beer, wine and liquor): you'll need two bartenders. Liquor drinks and cocktails take extra time per guest, so we recommend one bartender per 50 to 75 guests to keep lines moving. Our Reserve package includes two bartenders for up to 100 guests.
Beer and wine only: one bartender can comfortably serve up to 100 guests, which our Essentials package covers. Past 100 guests, you may need more bartenders to keep service fast.
Planning a larger event? Add one bartender for every 75 guests to keep the drinks moving.
Are your bartenders RBS certified and insured?
Yes. Every bartender is RBS certified, and we carry liquor liability insurance with your venue added as additional insured.
Where do you serve?
Everywhere in San Diego County, from La Jolla and Coronado up to Escondido, Ramona and Fallbrook, and every neighborhood in between. Now booking Temecula and Southern Riverside County too.
How do I book my date?
Send your date, guest count and the kind of party you're throwing. Pick a package, sign the contract, and a deposit holds the date.
